I need a quick list of sentence errors to watch out for on the SATs

Here are some of the categories for common sentence-level mistakes on the Writing and Language portion of the SAT. Be mindful, however, that the exam tests you on both style and mechanics, meaning that a little over half of the questions on this section will have more to do with organization, transition words, and word choice than grammar.

1. Comma splices
2. Subject-verb agreement
3. parallel structure
4. parentheticals
5. Pronouns with unclear antecedents
6. Verb tense

One of the always there is not using parallel structure - all verbs need to be in the same format.

Amother frequent is incorrect switching of pronouns.. Make sure sentence uses the same person throughout.

A third that is always there is correcting passive voice. You can pretty much rely that if it's passive, it's wrong.
