Long Quote question

I am currently writing an essay for my government class, I cited a long quote directly from an online article. Would I box the quote which is 68 words (4 lines)?

The answer depends on the style (APA, MLA, Chicago etc.) you are using because there are slight variations. For example, for APA style the rule of thumb is to box quote any quote 40 words or more. For MLA the criterion is any quote that takes up more than 4 lines of prose.

With the information you provide, I would suggest making it a box quote (indent the quote 1/2", and depending on the style, make it double spaced (MLA and APA) or single spaced (Chicago).
