You start with 2 rabbits. The rabbit's population triples every 30 days. How many rabbits will there be in 150 days?
You know that the population will triple every 30 days. Your beginning population is 2. So in the first 30 days you will have 3 times that or 6. In the next 30 days you will have 3 times that, or 18. (That is the first 2 cycles). You need to calculate this for the total number of breeding cycles to reach 150 days. Since 30 days goes into 150 days 5 times, this means a total of 5 cycles. I have done the first 2. Continue until you reach 5 cycles and see what your population is.
