Okay, there are 36 inches in a yard. Therefore, you just need to multiply the number of yards by 36 to
get the equivalent length in inches.
For example:
1 yard = 36 inches
1 x 36 = 36 inches

So, the number of yards, n times 36 gives you the number of inches.
