where do we get money to pay congressmen and women?

Article I, Section 6, of the U.S. Constitution, authorizes compensation for members of Congress “ascertained by law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States.”

And where do you suppose we fill the Treasury from...? (HINT, it bites us all every year!)
