With each additional cup of sugar, Trevor can bake an additional pie. So if he buys 34 cups of sugar, he can bake 34 more pies. If add those 34 pies to the 11 pies he has already baked, he can bake 45 pies in total.
11+34s = total
(s = the number of cups of sugar required to bake each pie)
