It has been done, but the problem arises that every single person has variance in their DNA. We can identify irregularities in DNA due to our mapping by looking at essential genes and what their effect on the body is. That is how we diagnose some diseases; however, that doesn't solve the problem of fixing those issues. A map is only a map, it shows where things are supposed to be. Not how to solve those issues.
