50 mls of DNA extraction buffer

2% SDS,   100mM tris pH 8,     10mM EDTA,    and proteinase K [1 ug/ml]

How much of each do we add?

I believe this is in reference to a laboratory experiment - you need to consult your lab manual to determine how much to add for your particular experiment.
