The ten thousand digit is the fifth one to the left of the decimal point.
356,000
3 = hundred thousands digit
5 = ten thousands digit
6= thousands digit
0 = hundreds digit
0 = tens digit
0 = ones digit
To round to the nearest ten thousand, we go one unit to the right (the thousands digit).
Because the thousands digit is 6, we round up the ten thousands digit from 5 to 6. (5-9 round up, 0-4 round down)
So the correct answer is C) 360,000
If it were 354,000 then the answer would be 350,000.
