One type is simple camouflage, where you try to hide from a predator. Another type is warning displays where you are purposefully bright and flashy as to say "hey I'm dangerous" and the thing is here, you may get eaten or attacked, but if your dangerous enough your buddy won't as the predator will learn. Another type is mimicry that mimics a larger animal or eyes to scare off predators. The last type is to pretend your dangerous when your not.
