Before you start, I would convert the mixed numbers into decimals so that all of your numbers will be in decimal form. The most important thing to remember in this problem is that you hav+e a negative number in front of parentheses. This negative sign (-1) MUST be distributed into the second set of parentheses before combining like terms.
0.75g - 2.2 - 3.25g + 1.6
=-2.5g-0.6
That is simplified. It cannot be solved because it does not have an equal sign.
