Listen. Every writer takes a different amount of time to complete writing anything. That's because no two persons are alike. Also, You're presently engaged in writing technical stuff. That's far different from writing essays, poetry, novels, fiction, non-fiction, blogs, email postings, etc. Don't worry about how much time it takes you or others to write. Focus on what you're doing and do the best you can do. And remember, when it comes to writing technical pieces and most other writings not requiring creation and imagination, the best way to write quickly and thoroughly, if that is what you are after, is to do thorough research into the subject matter. The more thorough your research, the better your writing will be.
