I am assuming the speed of the earthworm is 2 cm per second.
The ant is at the same position as the tail of the earthworm when the clock starts.
Let x be the speed of the ant.
In 5 seconds, the tail of the earthworm is 10 cm from the starting position.
Therefore the ant travels 10 cm + 15 cm = 25 cm in 5 seconds.
So the speed of the ant is 25 cm/5 sec = 5 cm per second.
Here is a table the verifies the answer
Time in seconds Head of the earthworm Ant
0 15 0
1 17 5
2 19 10
3 21 15
4 23 20
5 25 25
