Do the optimal conditions for the enzyme isoforms differ between species? Specifically, do the optimal pH and temperature for alpha-amylase differ for that enzyme produced by *B. lichiniformis* and *A. orzyae*.

It is a general rule that natural enzymes act optimally in the condition they are used in the nature. Thus not only enzymes of different species would vary on their optimal conditions, even an enzyme present in different tissues of the same species would vary depending on the environment of the tissues.
