This is a tricky problem because it can be interpreted a few different ways. The two interpretations that I can see are: 1) What is 25% more than 20? and 2) What is 25% more than 20, and then added to 20? So, method 1 would go as follows: since the number in question is 20, the first thing you want to do is find 25% of 20. Once you have calculated that answer, add it to 20. I think this is the version the problem was going for. Method 2 would go as follows: first you have to find what number is 25% more than 20 (which is method 1). Once you have that number, you then add it to 20. I'm not going to tell you the answers, but hopefully this can help you get going.
