How can I say "to take the derivative" (mathematics) in spanish?

In English, we generally use phrases like "take the derivative", "find the derivative", "evaluate the derivative", but we also use verbs such as "derivate", "derive", "differentiate", etc. What are the common phrases used say it in Spanish? Does it vary much from country to country?

I would say "tomar el derivado" (take the derivative) or "encontrar el derivado" (find the derivative).

In Spanish we say : Encontrar la "derivada" de ...... Derivative= derivada

Example: Encontrar la derivada de y =x^2, which is dy/dx = 2x. or y' = 2x

You can also say : diferenciar =differentiate
