I need to figure out a wolf metaphor for a poem.

I need to figure out a new metaphor to use. It has to describe how the wolf is a hassle to human society. My original was,” While I’m an ant- a pest to your society” I got advice told to me that since my poem was about the wolf that it would best not to use a non-animal metaphor. Also, preferably there not be a transition word at the beginning as I did in my original. Thanks!

Without knowing what some of the other lines are, which would affect the choice of metaphor due to whether it's supposed to rhyme or not, I can't answer the question.
