It is correct. You say me gustas as I like you. Me gustas is as saying : Tu gustas a mi ( a mi becomes me) and it goes before verb.

The literal translation of "me gusta" means that something "is pleasing to you." If you want to express a liking towards a specific person it is better to say "me encanta..." instead of usingthe verb "Gustar."
