Non-white, and/or female/feminist writers on Revolutions.

Hi, I am looking for any non-white or feminist writers on the Russian and/or French Revolution (or any socialist revolution after the Russian Revolution) - have been reading about these events but have only really found white male authors about them, such as Hobsbawm and Deutscher.

Try Sheila Rowbotham's 'Hidden from History: 300 years of Women's Oppression and the Fight Against it'

It covers from the mid 17th Century to 1930's and has some later content covered briefly.

Then read her book 'Women, Resistance and Revolution: A History of Women and Revolution in the Modern World' This book covers Russia, China, Cuba, Algeria and Vietnam. It is a selective book, but it is the first one that comes to mind for your requirements.
