If we go to the meaning of this verb in Italian, 'hash' means tritare, sminuzzare, annientare, ridurre in poltiglia which in English means chop, dice, mash agglomerate. Remember that the meaning of each word can be used in an appropriate situation as its possible context, as we see in the case of the verb to hash. For Italian language the basic computational functions are copiare (copy ) incollare (paste), tagliare (cut),eliminare (delete), it doesn't use tritare, ridurre poltiglia (hash). The reason is because the ambiguity of the action meaning that is making mush elements, something undefined and confused.
