A bioethical issue, is such which involves extreme scientific innovation but also calls into question the ethics and morals which govern society. An example of a bioethical issue is one of Embryonic Stem Cell research. It combines the extreme scientific innovation of the 21st century which can offer new cancer treatments or the possible growth of new limbs--investigating the undifferentiated property of embryonic stem cells; it also calls into to question the ethics of using unborn fetuses as the means to assist others. The issue is, is it right to use vitro fertilization and then termination of such created lives to better the lives of those previously born?
