The midpoint formula for x is x1 + x2 / 2 and for y is y1 + y2 / 2
Given the information we have, the formula is 2 + x2 / 2 = -2 and 3 + y2 / 2 = 6
Multiplying each side by 2 gives us...
Solving gives us .. 2 + x1 = -4 and 3 + y2 = 12
x1 = -6 and y2 = 9
So (-6,9) is the answer.
