Slope intercept form is written in the form:  y=mx+b where "b" is the y-intercepts and "m" is the slope.

 

In order to find the slope of two points use "y - y" over "x - x" (written like a fraction)

 

In this example: 0-6 = -6 (numerator) and 0 - -3 = 3 (denominator); therefore, the slope is -6/3 which simplifies to -2/1 or just -2.

 

Y=mx+b  ---> y=-2x
