i need help on this math. my teacher wasnt really explaining well. he was talkiing about football because he is the football coach . but anyways it is 7th grad math because apperently im in the seventh grade but yeah.

10c = Nora's age now

 

c + 2 = Charlie's age in two years

10c + 2 = Nora's age in two years

 

In two years Nora is (=) 8 times Charlie.

 

10c + 2 = 8(c + 2)

10c + 2 = 8c + 16

2c = 14

c = 7

 

Charlie is 7 today. Six years ago he was 1 years old.
