Generally speaking... a thought is a noun. It is the result of thinking. When a person is thinking, they are producing a thought. Thinking is a verb. It is the action of producing a thought. Thinking is made possible by brain chemistry. Neural networks within the brain are activated in various ways in order to facilitate thinking. And, again roughly speaking, the activity of these neural networks is driven by molecular interactions within and between individual neurons inside the brain.
