Hello Diego, hope you're doing well! Interesting question and one that pertains to the world right now very much. An increase in atmospheric greenhouse gases will contribute to an increase in average global temperatures because greenhouse gases like CO2 and methane act like a large blanket around the planet. So, heat can pass through the atmosphere to reach Earth's surface but it has a very hard time leaving due to this dense blanket of gases. Since more heat is trapped and retained, this would lead to higher global temperatures. Cheers, mate!
