How do you calculate the current

if the battery is a 9-volt battery and the resistance in the circuit is 50 ohm's how much current is flowing through the circuit

Using Ohm's Law, V = I R we have I = V / R. This gives us I = 9V / 50Ω = 0.18 A (Hence current is measured in Amps which is denoted by letter A)
