So to try and keep this from getting political. I would say that their is more of an incentive to not discuss issue dealing with South & Central America, planning because our country has a had a large hand in facilitating those issues. If school does or tries to, my assumption would be is that would veer too close to politic belief which would get extra repercussions. However this is just speculation, as there is much they as to why they dont teach in depth those issues.
