Art books about Irezumi drawings?

As far as I know Irezumi are Japanese tattoos. I really like them but I'm not interested in the tattoo part but in the drawings.I would like to read and see some art book about this style of drawings but I don't know what I should search for.

I saw your interest in Irezumi and you are correct, it can get confusing understanding the history behind the art of tattoo. Since I am not knowledgeable I did some research for you and found a book sold on amazon that illustrates as well as describe the history of the Irezumi work.

If it helps for next time when you are searching for the artwork in itself instead of what it is used for you might want to use words like "origin" and "history of".
