Let's look at the difference between weather and climate.
If someone asks you the weather outside, what would you say? Maybe you would say "it is hot, sunny, and breezy with a few clouds". Maybe you would say "it is cold and rainy." Weather is the current temperature, precipitation (a fancy word for rainfall), cloud cover, and wind conditions in a specific place at a specific time. So weather can change even in one day. It can go from sunny to rainy. It can go from cold to hot or hot to cold. It can go from windy to not windy. But the weather is whatever is happening outside right now. This can also include lightning, a tornado, a hurricane, snow, a blizzard. Whatever is happening at that very moment. Now, using that information, try to give an example of weather conditions. You can look outside right now and write down the weather you see and feel. Or you can describe the weather you might see and feel during your favorite time of year.
I also want to make sure you understand climate. Climate is a little different, but depends on weather. Climate is the average weather conditions in a specific place over a period of time. That might sound confusing, so let me give you an example. What is the climate of a desert? Hot and dry. This means that usually (or on average), the temperature is hot and there is not much rain. Does that mean there is never rain? No, sometimes it will rain or even storm in the desert. Does this mean it is never cold in the desert? No, some deserts have really cold winters. But usually, on average, it is hot and there is no rain. So now I want you to think about what kind of climate you live in. Is it on average usually hot, cold, or somewhere in between? Is it on average usually rainy, sunny, or somewhere in between?
I hope this helps!
