College Dilemma

Question

Hi. For the sake of privacy, my name is June, however, I am 18 years old. I have a list of questions below.

1. Is it useless to get a degree in graphic design or painting/drawing?

2. Is it useless to get a master's is the above degrees?

3. How useful would a degree in both art AND anthropology be?

4. Would a double major in the above majors be way over my head?

5. Would I be able to find a job in either anthropology or art if I recieved my bachelor's or would I need to go to graduate school?

Hi June,

Ask yourself two questions:

What career would you like to pursue? What do you want to do? What is (are) your passions?

What characteristics, skills, and training to people who are already working in that career or profession have?

Once you know the answer to these two questions, you will have a far better idea of the educational requirements.

One more thing: education matters, but the characteristics of the person (reliable, honest, hardworking, focused, etc) matter more.
