Are you asking if this is true? In that case, it depends on the type of communication. For example, a cricket chirping when a bird is nearby would not be likely to survive - an example of animal communication that does not foster natural selection. However, ants using pheremones to mark a path to food would be an example of animal communication that does foster natural selection. If the whole colony gets enough food, then the queen is more likely to survive and reproduce.
