Are you sure its 4 4/3 kg? That is actually 5 1/3 kg, but we need to change it to an improper fraction, = 16/3.
Using a proportion, 4 bananas/16/3kg = 3 bananas/x kg. cross products give us
4x = 3(16/3) or 4x = 16 divide by 4, and x = 4, so 3 bananas should weigh 4 kg.
