This question is more of an opinion based one. Both can kill a host when left unchecked or getting to a place where they are not normally. Viruses are dangerous because they take over the host cell machinery to reproduce which presents its own variety of issues. For example, many DNA viruses push the cell to S phase, which can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and cancers. It really depends on the bacteria/virus and what you mean by dangerous.
