Greetings! I see you are inquiring about the GRE Mathematics Subject Area Test.
They kept Green's Theorem and omitted others due to the rigor of Gauss, Stokes and especially Surface Integrals. Surface Integral problems are too long to solve for a standardized test.
Make sure to have a strong foundation of Calculus concepts:
- Forward and Anti-derivatives,
- Area under one curve,
- Area between two Curves
- partial fraction decomposition,
- Trigonometric integrals,
- Integration by Parts, (definitely integration by parts)
- Surface Area,
- Arc Length
- Volume of Revolution,
- Power Series (Taylor and McLauren)
- All the tests for convergence and divergence
- up to double and triple integrals with Green's Theorem.
Advanced Calculus is also too rigorous for standardized testing.
