The use of "ne" in a sentence?

I am confused by the use of object in the sentence.In the sentence> *Io me ne sono ricordato*What is the meaning of *me* or *ne*?

"me" is the reflexive pronoun of the verb "ricordarsi" (mi sono ricordato). It changed into "me" since there is a double pronoun here (mi ne --> me ne).

Ne = of it, about it

In Italian we say ricordarsi di qualcosa.
