I’d be happy to answer your question. The Great Depression hit Georgia harder than many other states. This was due to Georgia’s economic struggle for nearly a decade before the Great Depression. Many, however, stated that they did not notice the Great Depression due to their economic downturn previously.
So, the answer would be (C)- Many citizens had been struggling economically for years.
