This is a two step process using kinematic equations.

We use x=x0+v0t+0.5gt^2
This simplifies to 50 meters = 0.5 x acc x 10^2
This gives us acc = 1 m/s2
We now use another kinematic equation of v=v0+at (initial velocity is zero)
v= (1 m/s2)(10 s) = 10 m/s
