How are the three sides of a triangle related to one another

Why do you think they are all the same length ?

Kimberly, are we missing some information here? There are many different kinds of triangles--some have 3 sides of equal length (they are called equilateral triangles), and many do not.

 

Are you maybe asking how are the three sides of a RIGHT triangle are related to one another? Those sides have a very specific relationship, but in those cases the 3 sides would NOT be the same length.

 

Can you double-check the question and give a bit more detail?
