Tom has already read 30% of the book. he is considering two options to finish the book. option 1- read 15% of the remaining pages each night. Or... option 2- read 20 pages each night. which option should Tom pick if he wants to finish the book in the least amount of days?

Tom has to read 70% of his book to finish it. 70%/15% = 4.5 days

4,5 days x 20 pages = 93 pages

93 pages = 70%

x pages = 100%

93 x 100/70

x = 9300/70

x = 132.8 ~ 133 pages

the book has 133 pages,

133 = 100%

x = 15%

x = 133 x 15 /100

x = 1995/100

x = 19.95

since 15% is a little less than 20 pages he should read 20 pages per day.
