jerry was  feet  inches tall at the beginning of the school year. During the school year, he grew  of an inch. How many inches tall was he at the end of the school year. Making sure the answer is in inches!

5 feet 2 + 1/4 inches + 7/8 in =

5 feet 2 + 2/8 in + 7/8 in

= 5 feet 2+ 9/8 in

= 5 feet 2 + 1 + 1/8 in

= 5 feet 3 + 1/8 in

1 foot = 12 inches

5 feet = 60 inches

So 63 + 1/8 inches = 63.125 in
