The PhyloCode is a naming system that deals with naming of clades. It looks at common ancestry. The PhyloCode is controversial and still not well accepted. The Linneaus system uses morphology to categorize living things in to taxonomic levels becoming more specific as it moves from Kingdom, to Species.
