Frogs start off as eggs(spawn) gelatinous eggs in clumps with a tiny black dot which if the developing tadpole. -Hatching takes anywhere from 6 to 21 days.
Tadpoles hatch from the eggs resembling small fish with tails and gills for breathing underwater. They feed on the yolk of the egg first and move to algae and other plant material.
-The tadpole stage takes from several weeks to a few months. Some bullfrogs take up to two years to metamorphose.
Development-
Hind legs first
Front legs emerge
Body changes
Lungs develop and gills recede
Tail absorption
Final 24 hour push into a froglet
Froglet-tiny frog with a small tail stump until tail is fully absorbed.

-Froglets will mature into adult frogs in about 2-4 years.
