there is no real solution. tangent of 90 degrees is undefined.

even if you wanted to say infinity, it could be + or - infinity

tangent of 90 degrees would be the opposite side over the adjacent side and that's a finite number divided by zero, which is undefined. You can't divide by 0.

adding 5 to infinity doesn't change anything. infinity plus 5 = infinity. negative infinity + 5 = - infinity

but you don't know which it is, + or - infinity
