What is the measurements of for each park

Question

Beaver park and duck park are each surroumded by100 yards of fencing. The area of beaver park 25 square yards more than the area of duck park. If bothparks are rectangles, give the measurements for each park

13 x 37 ---> perimeter is 26 + 74 = 100 and area = 481

 

12 x 38 ----> perimeter is 24 + 76 = 100 and area = 456

 

The areas differ by 25

 

Had to be solved numerically because there are only 3 equations,

but 4 unknowns.  1) perimeter of 1st park is 100 2) perimeter of 2nd park is 100

3) one area is 25 square feet larger than the other area
