A machine has a buzzer that sounds very 50 minutes 

The machine also has a bell that sounds every 80 minutes 

 

The buzzer and the bell sound together at 10 am

Find the time which they next sound together

 

Please could you also give me a step to step solution for this aswell

What is the least common multiple of 50 and 80?

That is the number of minutes between simultaneous soundings.

Add that to 10:00 am to get the next simultaneous sounding.
