failed my driving test for the third time. is this a major?!

I failed my driving test for the third time as I let a bus in front of me. It wasn't t a dangerous situation. It was a small roundabout and there was nobody on my right. There was a bus on my left and it was on the verge of going. As its front part was already over the line I waved saying go. He went and that was a major. I KNOW that I had priority but I felt like if I didn't let him go through then I would have caused a dangerous situation as he looked like he was about to set off. The next bit he told me that was also a major was when I was waiting to turn left on the roundabout and I waited for everybody on my right to turn. I had chances where I could have gone but I didn't want to risk it as it would have been a dangerous situation. Please, can somebody explain nicely how these things caused a dangerous situation because I honestly give up?
