By Pythagorean theorem

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

 

hence c^2 = 10^2 +15^2

 

c^2 = 100 + 225

 

c^2 = 325 and c = sq root 325 

 

325 = 5^2*13 so square root 325 = 5 sq root 13
