excuse me, could you help me with homework! for almost four millennia, the Pyramid of Khufu was the tallest man-made structure in the world, this is a square pyramid, with a base side length of 813 feet. The volume of the Pyramid is 2.946*10^9 liters. The volume of a pyramid with a square base is given by: V=(L^2* H)/3. What is the height(H) of the pyramid in units of cubits? In ancient egypt, 1 cubit= 19.9 inches(in)

The biggest obstacle here is that there are so many different units.  We have some converting to do.

 

V = L²H/3 = 2.946x10⁹ liters

H = 3V/L²

H = 3(2.946x10⁹ liters)/(813 ft)²

H = 1.3371x10⁴ liters/ft²

13371 liters/ft² x 1000 ml/liter x 1 cm³/ml x 1 in³/(2.54 cm)³ x 1 ft²/(12 in)² x 1 cubit/19.9 in

H = 284.74 cubits

 

Using significant figures, the height is 285 cubits.  Notice how all the units cancel so that we are left with what we want.
