How to find the intersection of the lines :- mx-y+2-m=0 & x+y-4=0

To find the intersection of the two lines which are as :- 

                        mx-y+2-m=0 &

                         x+y-4=0

solve each equation for y;

then set those y's equal.

solve the resulting equation for x.

then substitute back into the easier of the two equations to express y as a function of x.

thus you will have the coordinates of the one point at which the two lines meet.
